Anna Knowles Solicitor
I am an experienced commercial property solicitor, based at the Kendal office of Thomson Hayton Winkley. I advise individuals and businesses on an extensive range of commercial property and business matters including freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions, commercial leases and renewals, all landlord and tenant issues, conditional agreements, options and overage, commercial lending and business asset sales and purchases. My clients come from a variety of sectors within the retail, industrial, development, local government, education, hospitality and leisure sectors. My aim is to provide practical, commercial advice in a friendly and straightforward manner.
I can also advise on residential sales and purchases, and all matters relating to residential property.
I am local to the area but trained in the southeast and after qualifying in 1996, joined multinational law firm, DLA Piper in Leeds, followed by leading Leeds firm, Lupton Fawcett. At both I was able to gain extensive commercial property experience acting for major institutional and retail clients. After spending a year in Canada, I returned to the local area in 2006 and joined Thomson Hayton Winkley in 2007.
When not at work, I like to spend time cycling, fell-walking, skiing and enjoying the outdoors with my family
