Amanda Chandler Financial Controller

I was appointed Financial Controller for Thomson Hayton Winkley in November 2023 having worked as a cashier for many years – starting originally with the Hayton Winkley side of the firm.

My responsibilities include dealing with the day to day management of the business finances.  I oversee all financial control activities and provide our executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategies. I also collaborate with the leadership team to establish more effective processes and controls.  I provide external auditors with the necessary documentation and support.

I live locally and love nothing more than getting out and about for walks and in my garden.  I am also a keen baker.  Whenever possible I will ensure that I have a holiday to my beloved Scotland booked to look forward to!
