Are residential property lawyers like buses? You wait and then two come along at once!
We were delighted to recently welcome Solicitor Patricia Boyd and lawyer Claire Greenhalgh to our team – both starting on the same day! Patricia is now working from our lovely Windermere office, and Claire is part of the busy “resi team” at Kendal – both are very welcome.
Patricia had a background in estate agency before studying to become a Solicitor and moving over to law. She now has over 20 years’ experience helping people to navigate the stresses of moving home.
It is great to have Patricia join us. She said: “I am excited to have joined the dedicated property team at THW and am looking forward to working alongside everyone and face new challenges and opportunities together. It has also been great getting to know local estate agents and other professional contacts in the Windermere area”.
Claire also began her career in estate agency, before moving work for a Solicitors in Grange and starting to study towards her CILEX qualifications. She too understands just how stressful moving house can be, and we know she will guide our clients with a calm and solution-focused approach. Claire has lots of connections in the Grange area, and we know how invaluable local knowledge can be.
Claire added: “I am thrilled to be part of the Thomson Hayton Winkley Solicitors team! The warm welcome from everyone has been incredible. I am excited for the journey ahead and all the great things we’ll achieve together.
Director & Head of Residential Property, Stephen Greenwood, is delighted to have these new additions saying: “It is fantastic to be able to welcome Claire and Patricia to our team. They bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience and local connections”.
“Alongside our current team of skilled residential property lawyers, they will help maintain our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Additionally, they will support me in developing our Trainees, ensuring that the next generation of property lawyers receives the necessary guidance during their training and can continue to offer the outstanding service our clients deserve.”
