Last night we attended the Cumbria Tourism Awards at the Castle Green Hotel with some of our team and our lovely guests.
It was so good to be back celebrating the best of Cumbria and the industry that is so important to our local economy.
We were sponsoring the Best New Tourism Business Award again. The finalists were Lakes Laser Tag, Dandelion & Hoglet Holiday Cottages, The Green Cumbria and Bassenthwaite Lake Station with Bassenthwaite Lake Station taking home the award. All the finalists have a great offer, and we look forward to seeing them grow and prosper.
The atmosphere in the room was buzzing, Dave Guest was the perfect host, and the whole event was brilliantly organised by Paula, Cath and Stacy.
The night did Cumbria proud!
