I specialise in all aspects of agricultural and rural
property matters (including agricultural tenancies, sales and purchases of
agricultural property, residential and commercial leases and the first
registration of unregistered titles).
My original undergraduate degree was in biology from the University of York. However, after completing my degree, I decided to pursue a career in law and undertook a postgraduate diploma in law at the College of Law in York. I completed my training contract with DLA Piper LLP in Sheffield and, upon qualification, moved to Wrigleys LLP in Leeds where I specialised in agricultural and rural property law. I joined the Rural Law Practice in January 2020.
I am married to a farmer and we have recently moved to a village near Ingleton with our two children. Outside of work I enjoy walking and millinery.
