Hazel Jones Solicitor

I am an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, having worked in the legal sector since 2005. I undertook a qualifying Law Degree at University of Central Lancashire completing a B A (hons) in Law with German in 2002.

After completing my degree, I spent a gap year travelling Malasia & Thailand and on a working visa in the Australian outback tractor driving on a wheat harvest, utilising agricultural skills gathered growing up on a working farm in Lancashire.

Upon return to the UK I found a position in a local law firm and worked as a Legal Assistant gaining knowledge and saving money for my post graduate qualifications. I returned to University alongside my work and studied my Legal Practices Course part time completing the same in 2010.

I welcomed my first child in 2010 and continued to work in an administrative role until 2014 when I took a fee earning role and completed my Training Contract in 2018 qualifying as a solicitor.

I specialised in Residential Property Law after training in commercial and residential property and also civil litigation.

I have assisted clients with both registered and unregistered properties and have experience of dealing with leasehold and freehold properties throughout England and Wales. I believe in a friendly and collaborative approach and being available for my clients and other professionals within a chain transaction to work towards clients objectives and timeframes wherever possible.

Outside of work I have varied interests, I assist my family with our working farm which is both Aberdeen Angus cattle and sheep. I also enjoy horse riding, having competed in various disciplines prior to having my children. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping fit generally.
