Krystal Garnett Solicitor
Based at our Kendal office, I advise on all aspects of estate planning including the preparation of Wills, related Inheritance Tax issues, Lasting Powers of Attorney and matters involving Trusts. I also advise on issues surrounding the Court of Protection and the administration of estates.
I am a member of the Private Client Section of The Law Society and a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly, having completed both SFE accredited awards – the SFE Older Client Care in Practice Award and the SFE Older Client in Practice Award.
I have also trained through the Alzheimer’s Society as a Dementia Friend’s Champion.
Born in New Zealand, I spent my childhood in North Wales before moving across the border to complete my Degree and Legal Practice Course in England. I relocated to the Lake District in 2016 to join Thomson Hayton Winkley at our Windermere office, where I was based for four years, before moving to the Kendal office.
I love being outdoors in nature, therefore outside of the office you are most likely to find me running in the fells, walking my dog or gardening. I am a member of Ambleside AC and I also regularly practice Yoga and Pilates. I am passionate about animal welfare and I have aspirations to one day open my own animal sanctuary.
