Heather Bland Trainee Legal Executive
I am Trainee Legal Executive with The Rural Law Practice, Thomson Hayton Winkley having joined the firm in August 2016.
I specialise in residential and agricultural sales and purchases, and first registrations of land and property. Working in the Rural Law office also gives me the opportunity to assist with a wide range of agricultural matters alongside my colleagues. In addition to my work responsibilities, I am currently undertaking the academic stages of my training. My aim is to progress my career and qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.
I have always been involved in the agricultural sector. My family have a beef and sheep farm at the foot of the Howgill Fells. We have pedigree flocks of Rough Fell and Swaledale sheep. This gives me a good insight into the issues our clients face, and good local knowledge.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking, baking cakes and visiting agricultural shows.
