Heather Bland CILEX Member - Advanced Paralegal
I work from The Rural Law Practice branch of Thomson Hayton Winkley having joined the firm in August 2016.
I specialise in residential and agricultural sales and purchases, and first registrations of land and property. Working in the Rural Law office also gives me the opportunity to assist with a wide range of other agricultural matters alongside my colleagues. In addition to my work responsibilities, I am currently undertaking the academic stages of my training, and am currently a CILEX Member – Advanced Paralegal. My aim is to progress my career and qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.
My family have a beef and sheep farm in the Yorkshire Dales National Park so I have always been involved in the agricultural sector. We have pedigree flocks of Rough Fell and Swaledale sheep. Being involved in the family farm gives me a good insight into the issues our clients face, and good local knowledge. I am also a Member of Young Farmers which I feel brings many benefits.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking, baking, visiting agricultural shows and showing livestock.
