Gabrielle Cairns Solicitor
I predominantly deal with residential conveyancing, which can include anything from simple sale and purchase transactions, to more complex transactions such as unregistered titles, transfers of equity and remortgage transactions. However, I also have experience in dealing with commercial leasehold transactions, involving the drafting of Leases between landlords and tenants.
I studied my Law Degree in Liverpool, obtaining a First Class Honours degree. Whilst studying, I also worked part time at a law firm in Liverpool, gaining experience within a personal injury setting.
After graduation, I followed my routes home to Cumbria and worked as a trainee solicitor, whilst studying for my Legal Practice Course and LL.M Masters degree at the University of Law.
I joined Thomson Hayton Winkley in January 2020 as a newly qualified solicitor within the firm’s property department.
In my spare time, I very much enjoy spending time with my family and taking advantage of the beautiful fells in the Lake District with my springer spaniel dog.
