Conveyancing assistant • Kendal
I started my legal career working for 14 years at Ratcliffe & Bibby carrying out residential conveyancing, sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity. I then joined Pearson & Pearson on 1 November 2001 and continued as an assistant conveyancer there until joining Thomson Hayton Winkley in April 2018. I thoroughly enjoy dealing with clients and ensuring that a client goes on to be happy in their new property. My aim is always to try to put the client first and deal with their requirements to the very best of my ability. Conveyancing can be an extremely stressful for clients and I am mindful of this and do all I can to ease the process for them with as little stress as possible.
Outside of work, I am very interested in wildlife and like walking. My partner and I love walking in the Yorkshire Dales and we enjoy spending time on his cabin cruiser as well as weekends away in our touring caravan. I also join him flying in his microlight and accompanying him on clay pigeon shoots, both of which I love. I am also a very keen steam locomotive fan and extremely interested in the workings of them.
