Associate Solicitor • Kendal
I grew up in Lancashire and studied law at Bristol University. After graduating I stayed in Bristol to complete my training at the large city firm, Osborne Clarke. I then specialised in matrimonial law practising in Somerset, before giving in to the desire to return to “the north” and settling in Kendal.
Once I had a family of my own I moved into specialising in wills, probate, Court of Protection and all aspects of work in relation to the elderly. I practised in several firms in the South Lakes area before joining Thompson Wilson Pattinson in 2002. I am a member of STEP (the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners).
In addition to having a busy family life I enjoy swimming, walking, yoga and reading.

“ All the staff in the office were kind and efficient in leading me through a particularly difficult time following the death of my husband. In particular, Kathryn Hughes and Duncan Fox (Financial Services) were professional, kind and nothing was too much trouble for them in explaining legal processes and financial options pertaining to my husband's estate. Thank you both. ”
