We are pleased and excited to announce that Thomson Hayton Winkley & The Rural Law Practice have been shortlisted as one of three finalists in the Best Rural Professional Services Business category in the North Region of the 2021/22 Rural Business Awards. The “North” includes Scotland and down as far as Cheshire and South Yorkshire, so this is quite an achievement.
If you did not know, the Rural Law Practice is the dedicated branch office of Thomson Hayton Winkley based at the thriving Junction 36 Rural Auction Centre, at the heart of the rural community. It is staffed by a specialist team of lawyers and support staff with hands on experience helping a diverse range of rural businesses and other clients.
They have a strong farming and rural tourism client base helping businesses and their families to embrace their changing needs and offering specialist advice for farm diversifications, food and drink producers and other rural tourism businesses.
Operating under the umbrella of Thomson Hayton Winkley, who at their offices in Kendal, Windermere and Kirkby Lonsdale, also act for many rural clients, the Rural Law Practice can benefit being part of a larger organisation, whilst remaining true to their rural identify.
We are also pleased to see other Cumbrian Businesses reach the finals too in their own categories -including Hawkshead Relish, Ginger Bakers, Shed 1 Gin, The Quiet Site, Growthviser, Keswick Adventures, Newlands Adventure Centre, Whistling Crew Productions, Dalefoot Composts and Sally’s Cottages.
Wishing them all the best of luck … and fingers crossed for us when the winners are announced in October!https://www.ruralbusinessawards.co.uk/regions/north/
